These terms cover PlayXiangqiBase — the site, the browser Xiangqi board, the guide pages, and related materials. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, close the tab. Play for fun; there are no gambling features on this board.

What this site is

PlayXiangqiBase offers free browser Chinese chess — Xiangqi — with a local AI and how-to pages that keep a live board nearby. Local progress stays in your browser. Hints suggest a move with a short idea; they are practice aids, not a guarantee you will win, and engine strength is for practice, not for claiming tournament titles.

Using the site does not create a professional, advisory, tutoring, or employment relationship. This is a game — not a school-filter workaround, not an accredited course, and not a mirror of club or commercial lobbies.

As-is availability

The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind — including accuracy of hints, engine strength, completeness of guides, or uninterrupted uptime. We may change controls, rename pages, or take the site offline. Do not scrape the site into a fake APK or redistribute substantial content as your own commercial product.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayXiangqiBase and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, including lost local boards or Records, time spent following a Hint, device performance, or downtime.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us specifically to use PlayXiangqiBase in the twelve months before the claim (currently $0) or (b) USD $50, to the extent enforceable.
